Several elected and community leaders gathered earlier this evening to share their opposition to a gondola in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Emily Pitsch of Students for the Wasatch stopped in to report on the event. 

RadioACTive got an update on the Great Salt Lake Collaborative, a group of 23 news, education and media organizations (including KRCL) that have come together to better inform and engage you about the crisis facing the Great Salt Lake — and what can be done to make a difference before it is too late. The Utah Cultural Alliance will host the inaugural Culture Connect, two-day gathering, aimed at building connections and improving individuals' professional and business acumen throughout the cultural industry. RadioACTive got a preview, including details on the sector's $17.8 billion economic impact, with UCA's Crystal Young and Ernesto Balderas.
