Songs for Ukraine fundraiser. Water lawyer Emily Lewis, host of the Ripple Effect podcast. Pollen Path, a pop-up art show in support of a new Indigenous Community Healing Garden in SLC.

Musician Chase Gillins of Kid Brother, who is part of a group organizing a benefit concert, Songs for Ukraine, this Sunday at Ellerbeck Mansion/livestream. 

  • March 6: SONGS FOR UKRAINE - Live Music Event with a Livestream, a benefit concert featuring local singer-songwriters Steph Clotele, Kid Brother, Lianna Manibog, Maxwell Sessions, and special guests. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with music from 6:00-8:30 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to those impacted by the current situation happening in Ukraine. The official recipient of the raised funds will be announced soon. LIMITED IN-PERSON SEATING AVAILABLE. There will only be 30 tickets sold to attend this event in person. A minimum donation of $25 is recommended per ticket. The dress attire is formal. What is a water lawyer? RadioACTive spoke with one: Emily Lewis of Clyde Snow's office in SLC. She's also host of the law firm's podcast, Ripple Effect, in which she discusses contemporary water issues touching on technology, law, finance, and water creativity.

  • March 5: Pollen Path, a Pop-Up Art Show & Indigenous Fundraiser, 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Lost Eden Gallery, 71 S. Rio Grande Street, SLC. A ONE NIGHT ONLY exhibit supported by Lost Eden Gallery (located at the Gateway), Good Deeds (Jorge Rojas, Laura Sharp Wilson, Camron Carpenter), MMIWhoismissing and over 60 participating Artists! All artworks are priced under $500. This one-night exhibit & Indigenous Food tasting will raise awareness and support for Restoring Ancestral Winds. VIP tickets: $25.   • March 19-Dec. 4: David Rios Ferreira: Transcending Time and Space, featuring work and writing by artist Denae Shanidiin, looks at community art-making, imagined time travel and spirituality as a vehicle for thinking about love, loss and memory. The exhibition opens to the public Saturday, March 19, with free admission and art making. A free artist talk and preview will be held on the evening of Friday, March 18, at the UMFA and via livestream.
