Happy President's Day! Tune in tonight at 6pm to meet Sheena Meade, CEO of the Clean Slate Initiative. Meade was in town for the NBA's All-Star Weekend to turn pain into purpose. Diana Greene Foster, author of The Turnaway Study: Ten Years, a Thousand Women, and the Consequences of Having--or Being Denied--an Abortion. Plus, Ron Gruner, author of 'We The Presidents - How American Presidents Shaped the Last Century.'

Sheena Meade, CEO of the Clean Slate Initiative and a leader within the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition's Criminal Justice efforts. She was in SLC over the weekend for the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities to help further bi-partisan "second chance" social justice reform to make criminal record expungement more accessible and less politically divisive, helping to ensure that past mistakes are no longer a life sentence to poverty and other systemic marginalization.

  • Feb. 22: Don't Mess With My Health Care, 4:00 p.m. in the Utah Capitol Rotunda, 350 N. State St., SLC. Event hosted by  Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah, Equality Utah, YWCA Utah, ACLU of Utah, Alliance for a Better Utah, League of Women Voters of Utah, Food Justice Coalition: "Support better access to safe, affordable, and medically sound health care in Utah."
