Mestizo Arts is readying a Pride exhibit, Home Is Never Dead, It Isn't Even Home, which opens June 1st at the Mestizo Gallery, 95 S. Rio Grande St., SLC. RadioACTive gets a sneak peek with artists HALO and Julian Croft and Mestizo Arts' Bianca Velasquez.

  • June 1: Opening Reception for Home Is Never Dead, It Isn't Even Home, 6:00-10:00 p.m. at Mestizo Arts, 95 S. Rio Grande St., SLC. "Artists Julian Croft and HALO’s Home Is Never Dead, It Isn’t Even Home focuses on the queer experience within domestic spaces. Their work emphasizes themes of intimacy, family and the complexities of self-expression within those contexts. Croft and HALO invite viewers into a multidimensional exploration of the sapphic home in their joint exhibition."
