- Nov. 7: Pack + Party: Fall Service Event, 6:30 p.m. at Utah Tech University, Gardner Student Center Ballroom, St. George. Event by The Policy Project: "Did you know that 84% of teenage girls have missed class, or know someone who has, due to lack of access to period products? Help us reduce these rates! The Policy Project is hosting its semiannual Pack + Party in St. George for the first time to ensure state-wide engagement and impact. So put on your pink and come help us pack THOUSANDS of period kits for Utah students in need. This event is open to all ages—bring your kids, parents, friends, and neighbors! And, of course, there's no party like a PERIOD PARTY—so there will be treats and music while we come together to give back! We also need volunteers to take boxes of assembled period kits from the service project and deliver them to Utah schools by Friday, November 22, so students have access to period products over the Thanksgiving holiday. We encourage all those interested in helping end period poverty to RSVP here: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/thepolicyproject/event/packpartyfall24/"
