KRCL's Spring Radiothon Is Here

Your generosity is what keeps nonprofits like Listeners' Community Radio of Utah going!

Tonight's RadioACTive Challenge Match for Good partner: New Roots SLC and Spice Kitchen Incubator, sister projects of the International Rescue Committee in Utah.

Guests this evening:

  • Vy Ho, New Roots, Agriculture and Community Education Coordinator
  • Albert Betoudji, a New Roots farmer who will have his own CSA this year
  • Ahimara Suarez, owner of Delicius, a Venezuelan family food business
  • Skywatcher Leo T

New Roots SLC and Spike Kitchen join us tonight to help raise funds for community radio. To show our appreciation, KRCL will provide FREE underwriting so that both IRC projects can promote their programs without drawing on cash reserves.

Part of community radio's role is to support fellow nonprofits, from the arts to human rights, animal welfare to the environment, to the helpers in our neighborhoods like IRC. This means your gift not only supports KRCL but also helps New Roots and SKI share their work — expanding the impact of your generosity.

You can donate throughout Spring Radiothon in the name of IRC's New Roots SLC and Spice Kitchen Incubator projects at this unique link: https://bit.ly/newrootsSPICEkrcl

Why It Matters:

  • Double the Impact: Every dollar you give is matched with pro bono underwriting spots
  • Support Local Media: KRCL amplifies diverse voices and music
  • Strengthen Our Community: Help both organizations thrive
