Announcing a New Spanish Music Series: Voces En Bloom

A new bi-lingual music concert and Spanish-speaking community celebration, as part of the Eccles Presents series is coming to downtown Salt Lake City called Voces En Bloom.

Voces En Bloom is Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4-7 pm on McCarthey Plaza at Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

Headlining the concert is Mexican-Dominican touring artist Ambar Lucid. With her unique brand of psychedelic Latin pop, Ambar’s music has been a “conscious spiritual journey” for her that has inspired a growing community to find light in darkness and manifest radical self-love and empowerment. “I’m healing our generational trauma.” says Lucid.

Detzany, a rising Mexican-American singer-songwriter and producer based in Salt Lake City, will open for Ambar. Detzany is known for her unique voice and genre-blending soundscapes.

In addition to the musical performances, guests will have opportunities to connect with Latino community organizations and learn about the valuable resources and services these organizations offer.

Voces En Bloom is on Sunday, September 22, from 4-7 p.m. at the McCarthey Plaza at the Eccles Theater. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit saltlakecountyarts.org.
