Live at KRCL: Blues guitarist Sue Foley on Women Who Rock

Award winning blues artist Sue Foley stopped in to KRCL's Women Who Rock before her appearance at the Utah Blues Festival at the Gallivan Center Fri and Sat, June 14 and 15. Listen in as Foley talks about her rise in the Texas blues scene and her on-going interview project with women guitarists for Guitar Player Magazine. She also plays a few live acoustic songs from her album, "The Ice Queen," as well as a song by legendary guitarist Memphis Minnie.

Triggers & Slips Play Alice In Chains

Local band Triggers & Slips fronted by Morgan Snow have embarked on what seems like an unlikely pairing, covering the entire Alice In Chains Unplugged album from 1996. But, as Snow explains, it's not only a tribute to his favorite band, but also an opportunity to raise awareness of the opioid crisis plaguing our community. Alice In Chains lead Layne Staley struggled with heroin addiction throughout his career and succumbed to it in 2002.
