On this edition of The R.O.I., KRCL’s Lara Jones features a local company started by a couple whose diet as kids was not that much different from most of us—it had a lot of processed foods. As Brittany and Bryce Thaxton started a life together, Brittany says they began paying more attention to locally grown and fresh ingredients, a passion that soon turned into a business. Vive Juicery and 29 other small businesses will share behind-the-scenes stories, advice, and insight as local food entrepreneurs at the Foodtrepreneur Festival Thursday night at Pierpont Place in downtown Salt Lake City.
