Tonight's show features the following people, organizations and/or events. Check them out and get plugged into your community!

Stewardship Utah is a new organization created from the merger of the Rural Utah Project and O2 Utah. RadioACTive finds out more with RUP's Daylene Redhorse and Alma Baste.

  • Founded in 2017, the Rural Utah Project has given a voice to underrepresented communities and created life-long citizen advocates in Southern Utah through voter registration, local mobilization, and issue organizing.

  • O₂ Utah opened its doors in 2019 to improve the Wasatch Front’s air quality through electoral involvement and political advocacy.

The National Governors Association is in town this week for its Summer Meeting. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, who serves as NGA's Chair, will be touting his Disagree Better initiative. Earlier this month, Democrats, Republicans and Independents spoke out against a polarized system in American politics during the Aspen Ideas Festival. As Aspen Public Radio's Kaya Williams reports for Rocky Mountain Community Radio, “common ground” was a common theme ((at several panels)).

KRCL's Eric P. Nelson, former host of Knock Knock Comedy Hour, talks with Scott Aukerman, host of Comedy Bang! Bang! The Podcast. The show's Into Your Mouth tour stops in SLC later this month.

NASA Solar System Ambassador Patrick Wiggins is back with his refreshing and humorous take on the cosmos. You can catch up with him during the Salt Lake Astronomical Society's (SLAS) summer star parties:
