9/11 Service and Remembrance Day, We Got Your Back, Utah YES, Handshake Diplomacy in a post-9/11 World

Hosted by Lara Jones and Dr. Dave, tonight's RadioActive included:

Don Willie of the World Trade Center of Utah on 9/11 as a day of service and remembrance
We Got Your Back Campaign with Dan and Anna Stanger of the Danna Foundation and Cathleen Sparrow of VOA of Utah. Together, they will provide 900 backpacks with necessities to homeless individuals in our community.
- You can help them stuff backpacks, with daily essentials provided by Target and other supporters, at VOA of Utah's Youth Resource Center Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Mishka Banuri and Elisabeth Hansen on this weekend's Utah Youth Environmental Summit at Alta
A panel discussion on handshake diplomacy in a post-9/11 world with:
- Mary Dickson, a Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy volunteer who regularly opens her home to foreign delegations
- Abdul Azziz Al-Talib, a surgeon from Saudi Arabia who is spending the summer in Utah learning English
- Karen Tao, assistant professor of counseling psychology, Department of Educational Psychology, University of Utah
