Form of a Girl Unknown, a play by Charly Evon Simpson, had its world premiere at Salt Lake Acting Company earlier this month. It is a unique coming of age tale, including blood. RadioACTive got a preview with lead actress Amanda Morris (Amali); Cynthia Fleming, SLAC’s Executive Artistic Director; and Cydnie LaCour, Division Director of Youth Homeless Services for Volunteers of America Utah.

  • During the entire run of FORM OF A GIRL UNKNOWN, SLAC will be collecting feminine hygiene product donations on behalf of the center. Drop off items at the box office during operating hours.

  • Nov. 3: Free Panel Discussion: Let's Talk, PeriodSalt Lake Acting Company presents a local group of experts on menstrual health and period equity in a free panel discussion from 2:45-3:45 p.m. today. The discussion is FREE and will occur immediately following SLAC's 1:00 p.m. performance of FORM OF A GIRL UNKNOWN. The dynamic lineup—composed of academics, activists, and lobbyists, includes:

    • Emma Gillett – Director of Outreach, The Policy Project
