Mother-daughter co-authors Nan Seymour and Beatrice Washburn talked about their forthcoming book, “An Unremarkable Girl.” To be published later this year, the dual voiced mother/daughter memoir is the story of a girl who survived to become herself through the perils of a misgendered adolescence.
Women and film panel, featuring:
- Tori Baker of Salt Lake Film Society, which presents The Greatest Women Directors at Broadway from June 1-July 3. You’ll also find several films by great women directors in their Summer Late Nights series at the Tower.
- Utah Film Commissioner Virginia Pearce, who helped launch 801 Women Creative to promote gender equity in Utah’s cultural and creative sector.
- Director Diana Whitten of the SLC Chapter of Film Fatales.
