Mark Maryboy, Braidan Weeks and Alastair Bitsoi of Utah Dineh Bikeyah, which earlier today gathered with the Sierra Club outside the SLC Office of the Bureau of Land Management to protest the bureau's online oil and gas lease auction that offered parcels adjacent to Utah’s Bears Ears, Hovenweep, and Canyons of the Ancients National Monuments. The public can attend one of two BLM scoping meetings and submit public comments in person:

Zach Frankel of Utah Rivers Council, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable aquatic ecosystems by protecting Utah’s watersheds and the communities they support. Late last week, URC filed a 38-page complaint against state Rep. Mike Noel (R-Kanab) over what they allege to be conflicts of interest regarding the Lake Powell Pipeline.
