Public Safety, White Mesa, A Billion Hairs for Billionaires, The Tea Party-Sexy Storytelling

    • Chief Mike Brown, Salt Lake City Police Department
    • David John of PANDOS and Yolanda Badback, Ephraim Dutchie and Sharee Tso of White Mesa Concerned Community reported back from today's public hearing to renew the White Mesa uranium mill license
      • Another public meeting at which citizens can offer comments and questions which are recorded will be held Thursday, June 15, 5-7 p.m. at the Blanding Arts and Events Center, 715 W. 200 S., Blanding, Utah. 
      • A 60-day public comment period for the proposed license renewal closes at 5 p.m. on June 30, 2017. Written comments can be mailed to the Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control, P.O. Box 144880, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4850 or sent by email to dwmrcpublic@utah.gov with the subject line: Public Comment on White Mesa RML Renewal. 
    • English Brooks, A Billlion Hairs for the Billionaires
    • Panel discussion: Destigmatizing Sex and HIV/AIDS with Ben Holdaway of The Tea Party-Sexy Storytelling, Stan Penfold of the Utah AIDS Foundation, and Annabelle Sheinberg, education director at Planned Parenthood SLC.
