Live music from Tom Bennett, #UrbanFarmReport with Utah dairy farmers and the Amazon Traveler, Slow Food Utah microgrants, and Bounce showcase

Tonight’s lineup:

Live, homegrown music from Tom Bennett, founder of Sweet Salt Records and the Holy Order of Wildlife (HOWL). See him tonight at Green Pig Pub, 31 E. 400 S., SLC. His set starts at 10 p.m.

Deyvid Morales, host of PONTE LAS PILAS Podcast, introduced us to some of the artists at tonight’s BOUNCE: Vol. 1 feat DJ Poetik C at The Royal, 4760 S. 900 E., SLC. Special guests: Bounce producer Derek Backman, Gloco, SergeBeats and SayD. First set at 8 p.m.!

 

Gwen Christ of Slow Food Utah, which is no accepting applications for its microgrants program. Deadline: January 31, 2020.

  • Who can apply for a grant? Any individual, small business, or non-profit committed to Slow Food International principles of good, clean, fair food, cultural diversity, and conviviality.

Mick Huerta, our Amazon traveler and mother pepper lover, was in town for a visit. RadioACTive and the Punk Rock Farmer got caught up on his adventures, including a couple of new books on the horizon.
