- My Body, My Earth: The Practice of Somatic Archaeology author Dr. Ruby Gibson, talked about her life's work in the field of recovery and wellness therapy through Somatic Archaeology and the Body & Earth Conference 2018 with Ramona Emerson and Lyla June
- Ramona Emerson of Reel Indian Pictures talked about activism, storytelling and healing through film. She highlighted her latest film
The Mayors of Shiprock, a 52-minute documentary which follows the lives of the members of the Northern Dine Youth Committee for over four years, as they work to make their community a better place to live.
- Lyla June is a poet, musician, human ecologist, public speaker and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages. She shared her poetry and her song, All Nations Rise.
- The Body & Earth Conference 2018 will be held September 12th, 2018 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
