Saturday, April 7: Utah Student Town Hall (March For Our Lives), 12:00 p.m. Wallace Bennett Federal Building, 125 S. State Street, SLC. This event is in response to a national call for town hall meetings today, issued by David Hogg, one of the leaders of the Parkland FL #NeverAgain movement.
Community programs that help people put their lives back together:
June 30: Food Truck Faceoff for Charity, Liberty Park, 900 S. 700 S., SLC. Benefitting VOA of Utah and other programs serving homeless members of our community.
Currently fundraising to begin a pilot program and storefront this fall.
Urban Farm Report with Celia Bell of Simplephat Farm in Glendale and James Loomis, who helped to start the Green Team Farm to reclaim an empty city lot and teach basic gardening techniques to women staying at The Road Home.
