Kiyan Banuri, Kenji Aoki and Ramis Banuri of the West High Debate Team, which is headed off to another competition this weekend. For the academic year 2017-18, Kiyan and Kenji earned four bids to enter the “Tournament of Champions” — a first for any public school team in Utah. Kiyan earned a fifth bid personally and will compete in the Lincoln-Douglas category this weekend. Oh, and the team took state!
