RadioACTive takeover with poet, activist and advocate Franque Bains, founder of Utahn Conversations. In this special report, Bains presents an audio memoir of the last year in which Utahn Convos provided support and tools for folks to step into the role of host and have critical conversations that create change and build safety in our communities. Guests included:

Sept. 18: Celebrating Black Joy, Utahn Convos, and Our New Mural, 4-8 p.m. at Patagonia Sugar House, 2292 S. Highland Drive, SLC. We will have music, spoken word, African dance, food, and a round table discussion on what Black Joy means for us here in Utah. Meet and talk with artist Blondine Jean-Packard and others from Utahn Convos, as well as four nonprofits: Curly Me!, Ngoma Y Africa, Project Succes and Versatile Image
