Salt Lake Community College has positioned itself as an emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution. Cristian spoke with Richard Diaz, who serves as the co-lead for the Emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution Collaborative Work Team and Sendys Estevez the Latinx Multicultural Student Success Coordinator, both at SLCC. The discussion examines what this designation means and how it impacts the LatinX student body.

Host Cristian Martinez is anxiously awaiting Season 3 of “Atlanta” to drop later this month on FX and Hulu. He is currently rewatching the first two seasons to get pumped for the premiere.
Associate Producer and guest Alexie Zollinger is looking forward to the new concert series that will take place in the alleyways of SLC and feature local hip- hop artists. The first show is slated for May 21.
Amplify Utah Executive Director Marcie Young Cancio shared a snippet about the Sunshine Protection Act. The bill, which passed the U.S. Senate last week, would move to adopt daylight savings time year-round but some health experts aren’t convinced that’s a smart idea.
