KRCL's Annual 801 Day is Thursday, August 1 and is dedicated to playing all Utah music showcasing for our community's diverse music scene. From Salt Lake to Provo, Ogden to Park City, Heber to Tooele, KRCL's 801 Day highlights music from all across the Beehive State and is a nod to Utah's first area code.
From 5am to 7pm KRCL DJs and special guest hosts join the day, including Julisa Olivera, Jake Rosenzweig and Ben Swisher of Salt Lake Public Library HUM (Hear Utah Music), students from Spy Hop & KRCL's Loud and Clear Youth Radio, Angela Brown of SLUG Magazine, Emilee Atkinson Music Editor of City Weekly and in-studio performances from local musicians. Plus, RadioActive with Lara Jones hosts a local music-maker panel featuring local songwriters.
