KRCL's 801 Day: A Celebration of Utah Music

KRCL's second annual 801 Day, Tuesday, August 1, is a full day dedicated to Utah music and our community's diverse music scene. From Salt Lake to Provo, Ogden to Park City, Heber to Tooele, KRCL's 801 Day highlights music from all across the Beehive State.

From 6am to 7pm KRCL DJs and special guest hosts join the day from some iconic Utah organizations including Ben Swisher, Katie Van Sleen and Jason Rabb curator of Salt Lake Public Library HUM (Hear Utah Music), students from Spy Hop & KRCL's Loud and Clear Youth Radio, Angela Brown of SLUG Magazine and an in-studio performance and guest DJ Session with Pixie and the Partygrass Boys. Plus, RadioActive with Lara Jones hosts a local music-maker panel, featuring local songwriters and Salt Lake Tribune culture reporter Palak Jayswal on the venues supporting locals.
