KRCL Announces the first annual 801 Day!

KRCL is proud to announce the first annual 801 Day, A Celebration of Utah Music. It's full day on 90.9fm KRCL dedicated to Utah music and our community's diverse music scene. From Salt Lake to Provo, Ogden to Park City, KRCL will highlight music from all across the beehive state.

Join KRCL DJs and guests: Ritt Momney, Angela Brown from SLUG Magazine, Salt Lake City Public Library HUM (Hear Utah Music), Corey Fox from Velour Music Gallery, and more from 7am-7pm on air.

Then 801 Day moves to Brewvies Cinema Pub for a very special 'Music Meets Movies' free screening of the 1999 Sundance Film Festival classic SLC PUNK! written and directed by James Merendino, who created the film based on his experience growing up in Salt Lake City.

On-Air Line-Up:
7am-9am: Shannalee, KRCL's Saturday Breakfast Jam host
9am-10am: Eugenie & Guest DJ Ritt Momney
10am-Noon: Courtney & Guest DJ Angela Brown of SLUG Magazine and Craft Lake City
Noon-2pm: Talia Keys, of We're Here with Talia Keys
2pm-3pm: Salt Lake Public Library's HUM - Hear Utah Music
3pm-4pm: Ebay & Guest DJ Corey Fox of Velour Live Music Gallery
4pm-6pm: Circus Brown, Not A Side Show Host

7pm: SLC Punk! screening at Brewvies Cinema Pub, 677 South 200 West, Salt Lake City
