KRCL is commited to clean air. In December of 2014, Ted Wilson, Executive Director of UCAIR, Utah Clean Air Partnership with Gwen Springmeyer and Angie Koford stopped by to award KRCL with a grant to go solar. Soon, with help from Hunt Electric KRCL will be the first radio station in the region to be powered entirely by the sun.
