During this episode, Maximum Distortion learns how to say, ‘goodbye’…

The unthinkable rumors are true, Maximum Distortion will be exchanging the raucous din it has been supplying the Wasatch Front for over 19 years for a deafening pall of silence - or, more accurately, different but equally great programming. The last episode of Maximum Distortion will air on June 26th. It has been our pleasure and honor to be part of the KRCL family since 2005 and we can say we’ve received nothing but encouragement and support from management, staff and listeners since the very first episode.

I (Forgach) will be pursuing an opportunity that would be best described as ‘out of this world’ (I will reveal specifics during the June 12th episode) and tune-in to Thursday Night Psych Out and/or The Dirty Boulevard during upcoming Radiothons to catch up with Cody D (he’s so helpful!). And unless you’re one of the few that doesn’t know where Cody lives in proximity to Liberty Park, stop by and I’m sure he’ll let you test drive his ‘65 Chevelle.

In closing, the last 19 years have been fun and rewarding for us and we hope you’ve enjoyed our brand of radio. Thanks to all and don’t be surprised if Maximum Distortion resurfaces at some point in the future and in some form that has yet to be determined. You may not have heard the last of us yet but in the meantime, support ~your~ community radio station, 90.9FM KRCL!
