The annual Borderlands Conference brings together distinguished writers from Mexico and the U.S., discussing the history and culture of the borderlands. RadioACTive's Asha Pruitt talks to the two academics behind the event: University of Utah Associate Professor Michael Mejia and PhD student Alexander Ortega. The 2026 conference, which takes place from March 19-20th at Finch Lane Gallery, features Edgar Garcia, Clyo Mendoza, Raquel Gutierrez and Anthony Cody.
