Asha Pruitt joined the RadioACTive team as a producer in October 2025. As the former Managing Editor for SLUG Magazine, she is proud to bring her knowledge of the local arts and music scene to KRCL. 

Asha grew up in Salt Lake City and first appeared on RadioACTive in 2018 as the director of March for Our Lives Utah. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2023 with a BA in Global Studies, and her work spans from in-depth reporting and cultural criticism to research on international politics. 

Asha is passionate about multimedia storytelling and amplifying the LGBTQ+ and Asian communities of Utah. When she’s not writing or producing, she’s crocheting, bouldering or going to a show at Kilby Court.
