KRCL PRESENTS
Listen to RadioACTive weeknights at 6pm

Listen to RadioACTive weeknights at 6pm

RadioACTive is KRCL's community affairs program for grassroots activists, community builders, punk rock farmers and DIY makers and musicians. Tune in weeknights at 6 as the RadioACTive team passes the mic so folks can share their stories and the causes they care about. Coming up next:

Monday, April 14: RadioACTive Pop! with Olivia Jaramillo walks the pop culture boulevard to find common ground with poet and birthkeeper Ashley Finley. Plus, Talia Keys with a Bernie report, and The 17th Ogden Music Festival.

Tuesday, April 15: April is National Poetry Month. RJ Walker returns with some new verse and old friends. Plus, singer-songwriter Marv Hamilton, Music Therapy Awareness Week, and the latest on signature gathering to repeal HB 267.

Wednesday, April 16: Utah Humanities is getting hit by federal grant freezes, which may mean no more statewide programming. UH's Jodi Graham explains. Plus, good trouble with Great Salt Lake Cleanup, Living Traditions, Community Animal Welfare Society Paws & Plates, 365 Poetry, and The Great Salt Lake: An Uplifting Artistic Oasis.

Thursday, April 17: Quilt the Constitution with Mormon Women for Ethical Government. Food Justice Coalition needs your help. Fight the Oligarchy tour and its bipartisan turnout in SLC. Plus, Father Vidal of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Layton on Good Friday and canonization of the first millennial saint.

Friday, April 18: Punk Rock Farmer Friday with more true tales of the agrihood. Join us to tackle Arbor and Earth Day with James the Arborist. Plus, SkyWatcher Leo T and homegrown music from English Budgies.

Share your thoughts, suggestions, and observations by calling the RadioACTive hotline: ‪(385) 800-1889. Or, send a voicememo to radioactive@krcl.org. Tell us your name and neighborhood, the subject or guest you want to talk about and leave a short message. Keep it clean and you may end up on the show!
