Samira Harnish started Women of the World five years ago to help women refugees learn English, adapt to their new culture, and develop skills to be independent. KRCL's Lara Jones spoke to her about her work, which is a long way from her introduction to America in the late-70s:
Women of the World, which will hold a fundraiser in September, is always looking for volunteers to help with is programs, including teaching clients English, helping them access education, and improving their life and job skills.
