Pam Perlich, director of demographic research at Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah, has been studying the numbers for a long time. Specifically, what the numbers say about us here in the Beehive State. Utah’s Hidden Diversity: Decoding Evidence from the Census is the title of the keynote address she’ll be giving at the State History Conference October 2. In a preview with KRCL's Lara Jones, Perlich says the 2020 count will give us a better picture of diversity that already exists:
