Climbing gyms have exploded across the country. According to Climbing Business Journal, there were 353 commercial climbing gyms in the US. in 2014, with another 40 expected to open this year. KRCL's Lara Jones talks with Jonathan Thesenga, global sports marketing manager at Salt Lake-based Black Diamond Equipment, about the growing sport and the challenges that come with more people not only climbing in the gym, but in the canyons.
