Summer Break: Loudies Get Local 

Central 9th Youth Council is a group of teens from Glendale Middle School and East High who are addressing issues they see in their community and among their peers. Loud & Clear Youth Radio's DJ Blue sat down with several members of the council to talk about their work around vaping awareness among teenagers and their parents, as well as what the youth council program has meant to them over the past year.

  • Loud & Clear Youth Radio is a partnership with Spy Hop Productions and KRCL, giving Utah teens a voice through hosting an hour-long radio show. Classes (free) start soon. Monumental Déjà Vu

Pres. Trump has issued an executive order reducing the size of Grand Staircase-Escalante and Bears Ears national monuments. And yes, we've been here before. So let's get the band back together and talk about it. According to the Sierra Club: "Nearly three million acres of public lands would lose their protections overnight. Under these new executive orders, Bears Ears would be reduced to just 9% of its original size and Grand Staircase-Escalante to 10%. This rollback also strips five Indigenous tribes of their leadership, ending a historic agreement to co-manage their ancestral lands."
