According to the American Lung Association’s new State of the Air Report, Salt Lake City ranks as the 7th most polluted city. That’s up one spot from last year’s list. While nationwide cities are seeing lower particle pollution levels, SLC-Ogden-Provo saw a slight increase in year-round particle pollution or soot levels, ozone levels got worse, and the number of unhealthy days of short-term grew substantially.
