Hosted by Lara Jones and Nick Burns, tonight's RadioActive included updates from a variety of activists:

  • Ashlee Phillips, Edward Bodily and Adam Davis of the Green Party of Utah, which has gained ballot access as a political party in Utah. Voters will be able to register to vote as Green beginning November 30.

  • Troy Williams of Equality Utah on creative activism, court cases and moving the needle in Utah as EU works to secure equal rights and protections for LGBTQ Utahns and their families. EU's annual Allies Dinner is September 30.

  • Carly Ferro, Lindsay Beebe and Nathan Gilbert of the Utah Chapter of the Sierra Club, which has been awarded the Environmental Alliance Award from the National Sierra Club for their work with the coalition of groups that continue to protect the boundaries of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
