Charlie Talcott, Army veteran and union member, shares his thoughts on military service as we approach Veterans Day this weekend. Talcott works with veterans on mental health and substance abuse issues at the VA in Salt Lake City.

Veterans Day is Saturday. RadioActive talked with veterans channeling their experiences into causes on the home front, in particular outdoor therapy. Guests included:
- Stacy Bare, an Iraq War veteran who now runs Sierra Club Outdoors and launched the movie and initiative Adventure Not War.
- BriGette McCoy, US Army Gulf War-era veteran and founder of Women Veteran Social Justice.
- Demond Mullins, an Iraq combat veteran involved with Veteran Expeditions.
