  • Crystal Young-Otterstrom of the Utah Cultural Alliance, who will travel to Washington, D.C., to deliver a petition to Utah's Congressional Delegation in support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting AND the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) — funding for which is on the chopping block by the Trump Administration.

  • Braidan Weeks and Alastair Lee Bitsoi, Utah Diné Bikéyah, talked about elevating tribal voices in state government. 

    • Earlier today at the Utah State Capitol, members of the Utah House Democratic Caucus along with Utah Diné Bikéyah, Utah Tribal Leaders Association and Utah League of Native American Voters proposed an interim 2018 study to elevate the Division of Indian Affairs to a Cabinet level position and create a Joint Standing Committee on Indian Affairs.
