Socially engaged art with Wendy Wischer, Assistant Professor Sculpture Intermedia, University of Utah, and student Sabrina Stein. As the capstone project in Wischer's Art, Action and the Environment class—and coinciding with the 45th anniversary of Earth Day— students went “begging” for a cleaner, safer environment last week. Marina Lowe, ALCU Utah, Legislative and Policy Counsel, talks about the wins and losses during the 2015 legislative session. Topics include justice reform, LGBT anti-discrimination bills, breastfeeding rights, medical marijuana, and the return of the firing squad.
