People's Climate March Part 2, Who's Got Roots, Poet Katharine Coles

Hosted by Lara Jones and Nick Burns, tonight's RadioActive was the second of two nights focusing on the activists and issues of the upcoming Utah People's Climate March set for Saturday, April 29, at Library Square in downtown SLC.

  • Haviar Hafoka and Malialoe on WHO GOT ROOTS Dance and Arts Competition, a forum for High School students to share their knowledge and display their interpretations of Polynesia through Dance, Music and Art. MUST LISTEN: Hiva Olive, representing AMES Highschool, sang a song called "Unaware" (originally by Allen Stone).
  • Utah poet Katharine Coles reads from The Earth Is Not Flat, a collection of poems she wrote during a trip to Anarctica funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists and Writers Program
